Why I Quit another Job
Why I Quit another Job
“Going Against the Grain in
Search of Purpose”
…You Were Born for More
This is a real life story of a man named Johnnie, who has been frustrated with jobs more than words can speak; yet Johnnie is intelligent and is not afraid to say what he thinks about today’s workplace conditions and the frustration of trying to discover why he is here and what he is supposed to do with his life.
The accusations from friends, co-workers and family were hard at times, due to their misunderstanding of why he quit those jobs and who he really was inside. This is a story not only about Johnnie, but one of so many around the world, who are fed up with disappointment, but desire more in life.
Join Johnnie on his amazing journey of frustration, yet one of real hope and discovery.

Dedication
To all those who have gone to a job where you felt like you were treated like a “slave”, not having much of a chance to reveal the talents you hold inside, without the fear of being controlled and manipulated.
This book is dedicated to all those who may never come to a full realization of knowing that you really can do what you love and find fulfillment in life. You may laugh a little, cry a little and even get mad. My goal is to cause you to live a little more, love a little more and care a little more. Don’t allow your soul to be consumed by the corporate “machine”, it will eventually kill every part of who you really want to become in this life.
This is your chance to take in what has been written, think on it and begin to ask yourself if what you have been doing is really worth risking your health, family, relationships and most importantly, time. It’s all about discovering the “Gift” inside of you to share with the rest of the world.

Introduction
Why I Quit another Job
The reason I wrote this book, is not because I am some kind of bitter freak who needs to take revenge on the “system” or the corporate structure of today. No, the reasons for writing are several. One of the main things I would love for people to see is that this is the story of a real man named Johnnie, who hurts just like you and I. He is a person who has gone through several jobs in life, not because he is a quitter at heart; but because he is on a search to discover his place in this world.
He is simply an individual who took the abuse long enough and now stands up for others when they are treated unfairly. It’s not like it’s enjoyable for anyone to confront this kind of thing and Johnnie has paid a price for doing so.
Johnnie is not a perfect guy by any means and he has not always made the right choices in life or has even said the right things many times. He is just another one of us, who merely wants to live and help others, along the way.
There are many others out there who have blown through jobs in the past, and will continue to in the future as well. In fact, it could be considered an epidemic of sorts, going from one job to the other for various reasons.
I am not a psychologist, nor am I a therapist, but one thing I do know, is that there is a real problem out there and it is not just the employee who quits, without leaving notice either! It’s quite the contrary in a lot of cases. Much of the problem lies with those who have started a business structure, without having much of a clue on how to handle human behavioral issues and/or emotional problems. Many of these business owners don’t really know how to hire the right people or understand how to put together a somewhat “emotionally-stable” management staff, who have people skills.
The business owner merely has an idea for their business, so they go to the difficult task of hiring those who will produce for the company and make it profitable. This is what one must do in order for their business or corporation to have staying power.
