Throughout ancient history, mankind has gazed into the cosmos in wonder,
and suspected there was something more
existing behind the stars, planets and galaxies.
Early man unconsciously knew that spirit dwelled in the trees, the flowers and the animals.
For ages, mankind felt an affinity with nature, which could not be explained or denied.
Early man respected the spirit of the animal that was killed, and the tree that was felled.
They knew that something existed beyond death.
Scientists now have powerful instruments to probe reality,
but they only discover facts, and facts alone will never speak to what is true reality.
They can examine a table with every known instrument for an eternity,
and even if they were finally able to see the atoms that form the table,
they will never find the consciousness inside of the atom that gives form to the table.
For eons, there have been dreamers who dreamed dreams.
There have been thinkers, who thought thoughts,
there have been visionaries, who saw visions,
and there have been wonderers who wondered and asked questions.
This book speaks to the wonderers among you, who desire to know what lies beyond,
and attempts to explain that which exists inside of the outside.

THE ENIGMAS
The enigmas explained in this book and books to follow are the result of questions submitted by readers of the ABG Blog Column, some of which were previously answered in that abbreviated format. They represent the impetus that attracted these expanded answers given in this book. I have selected these enigmas contained herein from hundreds of the most submitted questions from readers and ones that will be of most interest to those wonderers who demand to know what they suspect exists beyond what is normally perceived.
The numbering and order of the Enigmas discussed in this book is for continuity purposes only and has nothing to do with their relative importance in the overall scheme of things. I have chosen from among many enigmas to explain some very difficult concepts, hopefully in a meaningful order, one building on knowledge given in the others previously discussed.
As you may have noticed, this is Volume 1, which is the first in a collection of future Volumes that will be published in the coming months, discussing many other enigmas that have heretofore remained unexplained.

What you now perceive of reality is but a mere shadow of the underlying truth behind the facade that your perceptions pick up. We, you and I are on a journey through universes that we barely understand. The journey is just beginning and will never end. You may take that literally.
This book and other books to come are representative of many years of attempting to answer some of the most difficult and least understood spiritual questions of the ages in this world and beyond.
Many years ago I was motivated to write articles dealing with some of these most difficult spiritual questions. I say spiritual although my understanding of the word is somewhat different than the most commonly held definitions. I must make it clear that my use of the word spiritual in this sense has no religious connotation.
Spiritual is spiritual, religious is religious, and it is important that I make that distinction before we begin.
In the beginning, the Google Internet blog format and Ezine Articles writer’s format presented an opportunity for me to make these articles available to people all over the world, an opportunity that was not available to previous generations, and for that, I am thankful. I am amazed that people read this material from countries of which I have little knowledge, yet the yearning for knowledge is worldwide and universal.
Some people, who would classify themselves as religious, have no idea of what spiritual really means. It has become fashionable today to refer to oneself as being spiritual, usually inferring a progression out of traditional religions into a more elevated state of being.
Some of the most well known so called spiritual authors of the day, are far from spiritual, associating it with being in a submissive state of being, speaking softly, treading lightly on the earth, being holy in mind, body and spirit and being able to repeat verbatim, verses of the Dao, the Bible, Koran, and various thousands of other religious texts of countless religious sects.
This is all well and good, but kneeling in a monastery on a mountaintop, meditating day in and day out for a lifetime essentially removes you from what real life is about and should you do this, you would be missing the one great adventure that you were born into the worlds reality system to experience. Life!
Being spiritual, my friends is not about seclusion and meditation, although they are noble pursuits, spiritual is about intimate engagement with the earth environment, its abundant living consciousness, encountering the problems and solutions of manipulating in a world of physical matter as well as a world of psychic reality.
The most celebrated kings and ecclesial figures, wearing their golden robes and jeweled crowns, cloistered away in their castles and churches, know little of the reality of the common man, and are the least well equipped to tell you about the true nature of reality experienced by most of humanity.
In my case, I am one of those who did not tread lightly upon the earth for many of my early years and then something rather strange happened. When I first began writing I was not quite sure where my information came from, and I must admit, even today I am still not quite sure, but I know that it comes from beyond our familiar universe because of its multi-dimensional character.
I will try and explain in more detail what I understand to be the source of my knowledge, and believe me; it doesn’t come from traditional religious or scientific sources. That is why I am emphatic in explaining that the knowledge discussed here is far from your traditional religious dogma.
In the hundreds of short articles that I have written in the past, I speak of subject matter that I am simply not consciously aware of to any great degree. I am also well aware that my humble scribbling is greatly influenced by my past interests, reading and studies about the true nature of reality. I think that these influences simply define the boundaries of where we are going with this in the future, and in a greater perspective, there are no boundaries.
I have no particular agenda in writing the herein contained answers other than to explain to those who are interested, the true multi-dimensional nature of the personality and of reality itself.
As many of you already know, I do not pass the usual obligatory collection plate, I don’t sell prayer cloths, vials of holy water from the River Jordan or raise my arms to the heavens and generously administer blessings to the deserving or grant indulgences to the multitudes of sinners. Note that I am smiling as I wrote that.
The concepts I write about are by no means simple to understand, but I will not oversimplify or water them down for the sake of pleasing more readers. There are many who are not ready to kick aside old, long held, stagnant beliefs and consider new ideas, even though these new ideas represent ultimate truths that many have long been seeking.
The world has been locked into traditional beliefs for thousands of years with no one ever questioning their existence in the first place. If you are not ready to learn now, that’s OK; evolution will bring you around sooner or later.
Evolution infers progress and is not regressive, so what you are not ready to learn today, you will be ready to learn tomorrow, so to speak, but in some cases, tomorrow may be a very long time indeed. Evolution does not push, shove, or try to manipulate the universe and in greater terms, you could say that nature has learned to evolve itself.
Your present world is caught up in ancient beliefs, myths, legends and superstitions. The over simplicity of these ancient superstitions, myths, legends and rumor based beliefs should be a clue as to their validity or lack thereof. Reality isn’t simple, and understanding it isn't easy, in fact, it can be downright difficult.
Many of you hold your beliefs not because at one time you discovered real truths, but because they were given to you by your parents, and God forbid, who would ever question their parents. Good old mummy and daddy could never be wrong. So they never question these sometimes-distorted beliefs even though they know that they ring no true affirmation in their hearts.
Some people live their whole lives in the same house that their grandparents lived in; their parents lived in and never have any desire to move away from their comfort zone. Many people will spend their whole life in New York City without having ever ventured out into the countryside, let alone visit the Statue of Liberty or the Empire State Building.
They are fenced in more by their restricted beliefs than a convict in a prison cell.
They are content to perpetuate the status quo that they inherited at birth, the same house, same friends, same neighborhood as the seasons come and go, the years pass and nothing much ever changes.
I will, in this book, ask you at least temporarily, to venture out from your place of security, your home, your New York City, and your cozy environment and learn about new environments, new concepts and new realities that heretofore were unknown to you.
In order to understand what is written here, you must check your present beliefs at the door, set your brain aside and open yourself to new ideas and concepts that you may find it difficult to believe at first. The brain is a wonderful tool to examine physical reality, but if physical reality was all there was, there would be nothing left to wonder about and no questions left unanswered.
I will ask you, at least temporarily, to begin to utilize other aspects of your personality that may have been forgotten, but are essential if you truly want to know what lies beyond your everyday experience. Your inner senses, your intuitional feelings and emotions will be of great benefit here.
True reality should be experienced by both the intellect and the intuition, both working harmoniously together to give you a full picture of not only what is out there, but also, what is in there to perceive. Utilizing one without the other will always give you a skewed and incomplete picture of reality.
There are countless worlds and universes to explore and the time is never better than the present to begin the journey, and I will hold your hand as we travel these unknown realities. You have been children, believing in children’s tales, but children are meant to mature and set aside the blocks, Lego Toys and Barbie Dolls.
You are becoming adults in a psychic sense and the old reality of the past must give way to new knowledge and an inevitable expansion of the personality. I hope to offer that Knowledge to those who are willing to listen. What you were is not wrong, but what you were is the past you. You must now extend yourself into the new present and reach into the future. There is much to know and I have much to say.
I would not be far off the mark if I said that pretty much everything you have been taught in the past is wrong, and frankly, in many cases, it would be far easier to start over with a complete new beginning.
But that is not the case here, so we will have to struggle through some of this until you begin to get a feel for the real truths that we will deal with. Undoubtedly, what we discuss here will fly in the face of many of your closely held beliefs but if you are sincere about wanting to understand the universal mysteries we discuss, the answers you seek may be found here.
The articles I have written in the past were and are necessarily short in order to adhere to the limited formats previously available to me, but I too must reach out and fulfill my desire to educate those who are desirous to learn, and I can promise you, there is much to learn for you and for me. In truth, there is no end to learning, and a thousand years from now you will still be learning, but on a somewhat different scale.
The past ABG articles you will find in these sites have become restrictive to me and this is one of the most frustrating things about writing in such formats. All guidelines that I have read advise making these articles short, usually less than 500 words per article, mine usually averaging close to 1,500 words. Bad Me!
The conventional wisdom is to write articles short and concise, so as to not tax the attention span of the reader. I, on the other hand, have much more faith in the intellect of our readers and although it is a chore even to write short articles about the type of material that I write, it is even more frustrating and almost next to impossible. Imagine trying to write about the beginning of the universe in less than 500 words. (Sarcastic smile again)
Sure, some authors can write a short and interesting article about how to bake a carrot cake, or how to dress your child properly for school, or build a simple book shelf out of scrap wood, but the knowledge you will find in this book does not fit comfortably into most short formats.
As a matter of fact, it doesn’t really fit comfortably into any format and at the time of this writing, I am still not sure how I will tag the book, since it is certainly not religious by any means, it is not fiction, and it is not non-fiction since it does not deal in real world facts.
If I were trying to explain to you how God created the world in six days and got so tired he had to sit down on his golden throne somewhere up in the clouds in heaven to rest and catch his breath on the seventh day, these short format articles would be sufficient.
They would have been sufficient a few hundred years ago, but times have changed and you are evolving and the same old over simplistic answers are no long acceptable. Your history and the history of the human race dates back further than you know or may want to know, but I intend to tell you anyway. You weren’t born yesterday.
I have been asked by magazines to write columns or to condense particular articles to fit into the traditional magazine format, which dictates somewhere between 800 and 1000 words per article, in order for it to fit the customary one page format of these publications.
Obviously, I cannot do that for the same reasons that I have found it almost impossible to restrict my articles into the traditional suggested blog word limitations.
One extremely helpful aspect of writing in the Blog or Ezine format, is that they track readership statistics that can be quite informative in helping authors like myself in understanding which articles are most read and which are not.
From my standpoint, it is easier to write the next article when I know in advance what the readers most want to know and I have many years experience under my belt to help me know what is most important to you, and believe me, I am not going to shirk my duty to fully explain what you are searching for, within the limitations of my knowledge.
I also have the advantage through the “comments” function on these sites to receive questions from the readers themselves. As a matter of fact, probably seventy five percent of my articles are in response to reader’s questions.
I have included some of the questions I have been asked regarding certain subject material contained in this book, so you can get an idea of the kind of questions that are most frequently asked. You can also post your questions or comments on our ABG web site, and I will endeavor to answer them as time permits and will sometimes answer them within an article that includes your questions.
We can only discuss so much in one book and there is much to learn about your cozy little universe and everything that it contains. There will be a series of books of which this is the first.
Others to follow will deal with not only answers to questions submitted by readers, but also with subjects that I deem pertinent that deal with concepts that I know you want to know about, but the relevant questions have never been asked
I also get some pretty good article ideas from the Internet news stories about new scientific discoveries and world events. In attempting to approach these subjects in a new way that has not been done before I hope to bring the true nature of reality into focus for those curious enough to demand answers, and believe me, I will try to comply.
It goes without saying, that if you are still clinging desperately to old worn out and distorted beliefs, none of what is written here will make much sense to you, and that’s all right, your time will come.
There are universes, worlds, dimensions and planes of existence that truly astound the intellect, but there is also much that you are not aware of in your own life and psychic neighborhood that will benefit your well being and help you negotiate the twists and turns of day to day life experience in the physical world, the dream world and other fields that you are presently unknowingly involved with.
You automatically create your reality and unknowingly participate in the mass creation of world events, so when you learn precisely how this is done, you will gain more control over your life than you have ever had before.
You are much more than you suspect, you are a multi-dimensional personality, and I want to re-acquaint you with those other unknown aspects of YOU that you may have temporarily misplaced or forgotten.
WHERE WE ARE GOING ON THIS JOURNEY
As many of you know by now, I sometimes write multiple articles about the same or similar subjects, hoping to approach some almost impossible to understand concepts in a different light and from a new slant, giving an ever increasing, deeper perspective on varied aspects of reality.
If some topics that I touch on seem repetitive, it is only because I receive more questions on some subjects more than others, and usually they are subjects that are very difficult for you to understand and from my end, more difficult to explain.
If these matters were easy to explain there would not be so many people lost in the wilderness of ignorance, following false beliefs, false prophets and false doctrine about very important subjects. If you are wondering what benefit it is to learn about what we discuss here, it is because you will not always be what you are today and where you are today, as you are even now progressing even though that rate of progression has been painfully slow in the past.
Let me make it perfectly clear that there is nothing inherently wrong about being where you are today, except for the one small thing, your life will get immeasurably better the more you know about your true nature and your heretofore unknown abilities.
You were not meant to dwell in the shadows of knowledge forever, foundering in a sea of ignorance of even the smallest realities that surround you in a very intimate way. The acquisition of knowledge happens even if it happens by accident, and it is impossible to remain intellectually ignorant, mired in myth and superstition that is supposed to be dispensed with as you grow into adulthood.
You probably have never even considered the one rule that we will be dealing with throughout these books, and that is the one universal truth; you get what you concentrate on and expect.
This is one of the rules that operate the same in your universe, other universes, planes and dimensions, including the dream universe and the dimension that may be most important to you, the plane that you will enter into after physical death.
You actually create your physical reality the same way whether you are alive, asleep or dead. You create physical reality in much the same way as you create your dream reality and the reality you will experience after you die, with one main exception, that the final but temporary image construction is of a different type of construction.
The most important benefit in your life today is that when you really begin to understand that the fact that you create your reality is not some Pollyanna metaphysical gibberish, but an actual truth and when fully understood and implemented in your daily activities, can bring about astounding improvements in your life.
What it really means is that you have real control over your life and events that in the past you believed were written in stone and could not be averted or changed. In actuality, you create your life’s events; you own them, or at least your part in them, and you can change them.
For anyone interested, I am not a prophet nor am I a guru, I hold no degrees in theology and I am not a trained psychologist. I don’t even possess a golden crown or a throne, yet I am one, who occasionally receives golden tidbits of information from sources that do not originate in this world reality system.
I consider myself a teacher of some of the most elusive concepts the world has known, elusive because they span not only the history of the earth, but also the history of other worlds and universes beyond anything you can now imagine.
I do not deal exclusively in facts that you are accustomed to, but in the psychological reality out of which physical fact arises. The knowledge that I pass on to you does not necessarily originate with me, nor is it unique with me, and has been given before in your world in past eons and in systems pre-dating yours.
In time terms, the world that you live in is the latest version of earth reality, and you are carrying the Earth experiment forward on different terms than ever before. You were not meant to remain ignorant forever, wrapped in ancient myths and folklore, and in truth, the only limitations that you have as an emerging consciousness are the limitations that you unknowingly place on yourself.
Consciousness, any consciousness and all consciousness, from the micro to the macro, are basically unlimited. It is true, that you are somewhat limited by the nature of your perceptive senses, but the nature of these senses can be and will be extended and expanded, and that's what this journey is all about.
Where you cannot see, something exists and where your perception fails you, the air is filled with activity of a different origin. Entire reality systems and their inhabitants share your earth with you, yet it goes unnoticed and there is no interference whatsoever. All space is one space.
Other civilizations have existed and do exist on what you would call alien planets, and other civilizations have existed on your current earth and probable earths that you know nothing of at this time. Some of these previous civilizations destroyed themselves and others succeeded and moved outward into other distant galaxies in accordance with their more advanced knowledge and abilities. You will eventually follow their lead, evolve and move on.
There will come a time when you will also venture outward to more developed and sophisticated systems. This will happen whether you now believe it or not, the difference being, that you can facilitate this evolution of your consciousness now, and begin to know now what you do not now know.
