Author bio:
James Hackley just may be the most blessed individual you’ll ever meet. Despite a highly successful sales & marketing career that has spanned the last two decades, his true “calling” is touching the lives of others and inspiring them to want to change for the better. As a result of a major epiphany, James was able to lose an amazing 50 lbs of fat in just 4 months and has sculpted his 46-yr-old body into the best shape ever. He has learned to significantly reduce stress, quiet the mind and get in touch with his spirit like never before. As a result, he’s been able to free himself from a lifetime sentence of high blood pressure and high cholesterol prescription medications. More importantly, he’s been able to inspire those around him to do the same. In his latest release, Body, Mind & Spirit: The Awakening, James explores the root causes of why we overeat, refuse to exercise, live chaotic lives and fail to accomplish the goals that God has intended for our life since the dawn of time. This is not just another diet or “weight loss” (loss of fat and muscle) book. Diets simply don’t work, and James emphasizes how we need to be more concerned about “fat loss.” In fact, this guaranteed bestseller would be better categorized as a “Negativity Loss” guide: loss of negative fat, negative habits, negative foods, negative people, negative thoughts and negative actions. This guide arms you with knowledge and encouragement to put a plan into action to finally master the things that have long mastered you. Mr. Hackley received a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from Longwood College, a Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Virginia, he’s chaplain of a local chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity and an active member of Holy & Whole Life Changing Ministries International in Loudoun County, Virginia. He is the proud founder and CEO of Omega Consulting Enterprises, LLC and currently lives in Sterling, Va. with his beautiful wife Angela and their daughter Landon. Author bio:
Having grown up in more humble circumstances, I was anxious to be successful in all areas of my adult life, especially the financial realm. I thought success would come easily, and that I was smart enough, talented enough, good looking enough, and charming enough that with only a little effort and lots of belief I would be able to move mountains. It didn’t work. While working a second job I was introduced to a personal development and mentorship group focused on creating success. I caught fire with wanting to learn about success, leadership, wealth creation, and personal development. I was excited to learn what I was doing wrong and how I could be successful. For several years I spent money on tapes, books, seminars, and presentations. I read websites, e-zines, newsletters, and emails. I got books and audio books from the library. I digested whatever I could get my hands on. I availed myself of what the gurus had to offer and was motivated to implement it. That didn’t work either. Rather than success untold, I had debt untold. Rather than happiness, I had frustration. I didn’t reach the success I was told I should have been able to and consequently I was frustrated and wondered what was wrong with me – after all, it couldn’t be the experts who were wrong. While I was seeking answers as to how I could be successful, I came across an idea that described how passion and financial compensation are tied together. The thought was that if you find your passion and exploit it, or share it, with the world, you will be making such a unique contribution to the world that it can’t help but compensate you financially for doing so. Wow! What a great thought! I immediately wanted to encourage others to share their passion with the world and help them achieve the success I also so badly sought. I had the idea to interview 21 ordinary millionaires to learn how they found their passion and thereby found their success. I wanted to use millionaires who are not necessarily well known to demonstrate that you don’t have to be a celebrity or athlete to live your passion and that success is closer than we think. One little problem with my grand idea. On the third interview I found there wasn’t a direct correlation between passion and success. But now I know the truth about success and I want you to know it, too. I also finally learned I'm anything but smart, talented, good looking, or charming...

Author bio:
My name is Aernout Zevenbergen (1967) - I am a professional storycatcher and wanderer, with Africa as my arena. As a storycatcher I do my best to capture what is out there as the ways in which people perceive their own reality, without thinking that any of those is something weird like 'the truth'. I use all the media at my disposal: text, internet, podcasting, photography and other visuals. I am a journalist, an author, a publisher and a designer. I act as speaker and give lectures. I use media to broadcast my own amazement at existence, in all of its aspects. My main theme is men: masculinity and what it means to be a man. Through my work, I learn. It is my hope that you, as a client or as a member of the audience, learn just as much as I do through the work I publish. Having my perceived securities erode by searching for the paradox in everything. Transcending contradictions of existence through living both, at the same time. Gliding up and down the rainbow of my own pre-conceived ideas and thoughts. These are my passions. They challenge and rip, soothe and rock, tear and build.

I grew up in KY, TN, MI, and NY. I got thrown out of SUNY Purchase for drug use and failing grades. I kind of graduated from Hunter College 3 years later with a double BA in History and Psychology. (I never filed for my diploma.) I considered attending grad school but studied martial arts and Zen instead. I earned black belts in both Aikido and Tai Chi Chuan and studied other arts less seriously. I read voraciously and can hold my own on most topics, except maybe math. I’ve washed dishes, worked in a warehouse, spent 4 years at IBM, managed and then bought for a chain of independent bookstores, been a personal trainer specializing in mind-body relationships, started and closed a dojo, founded a nonprofit, worked with high need kids, and started the Temple of the Circus Monkey. As an adult, I’ve lived in NYC, Los Angeles, Oakland, and San Francisco. I like Asian girls, sex, motorcycles, rum, cigars, eating out, Coca-Cola, hard boiled detective stories, bad movies, and game shows. I have the attention span of a teenage gnat.
